artist’s philosophy
The beauty of life inspires her to create art that celebrates light. Her distinctive work is known from its vivid light and colour games and her abstract expressionistic style explores the essence of beauty, poetic sensations and impressions. Every artwork is an open ended story for the audience to experience and grow. She is a passionate artist and her art is an invitation to the fascinating and inexhaustible beauty of the world. This is how she tries to change the world and bring light and joy to people.
educational work and study background
She is also an enthusiastic and a devoted lecturer to her students and her educational work contributes to the development of the visual communication education, preparing designers as thinkers with professional and social responsibility that includes ethics and respects humanity and nature.
She has a multicultural background, as she worked and studied in Finland, Switzerland, Germany and Greece. There she had arranged solo art exhibitions and group art exhibitions. Her work background involved different activities such as: teaching, project coordinating, art directing and designing.
Her study background involved various fields and competences, such as: Communication & Media (University of Jyväskylä, MA), Professional Teacher Education (Jyväskylä University of Applied Science), British English Language (University of Cambridge), American English Language (University of Michigan), Greek Sign language & Special pedagogy (Greece’s National Institute for the Deaf), Graphic Design – Applied Arts & Visual Communication (University of West Attica), and exchange studies in Media & German Language (Hannover University of Applied Sciences).
