artist’s philosophy

The beauty of life inspires her to create art that celebrates light. Her distinctive work is known from its vivid light and colour games and her abstract expressionistic style explores the essence of beauty, poetic sensations and impressions. Every artwork is an open ended story for the audience to experience and grow. She is a passionate artist and her art is an invitation to the fascinating and inexhaustible beauty of the world. This is how she tries to change the world and bring light and joy to people.

educational work and study background

She is also an enthusiastic and a devoted lecturer to her students and her educational work contributes to the development of the visual communication education, preparing designers as thinkers with professional and social responsibility that includes ethics and respects humanity and nature.

She has a multicultural background, as she worked and studied in Finland, Switzerland, Germany and Greece. There she had arranged solo art exhibitions and group art exhibitions. Her work background involved different activities such as: teaching, project coordinating, art directing and designing.

Her study background involved various fields and competences, such as: digital culture and art pedagogy, focusing on design education and visual communication (Jyväskylä University Master Degree), pedagogy, focusing on teaching in high education institutions (Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences Degree), graphic design (Athens University of Applied Sciences Degree), English language (Michigan University Degree and Cambridge University Degree), media communication and German language studies (Hannover University of Applied Sciences), special pedagogy and Sign language studies (Athens Deaf Institute).

taiteilijan lausunto

Elämän kauneus inspiroi minua tekemään taidetta, joka on valon juhlaa. Töideni erityispiirre onkin valon ja värien eloisa leikki. Abstraktin tyylin kautta kykenen parhaiten tutkimaan kauneuden olemusta sekä runollisia tunnelmia ja impressioita. Jätän mielelläni maalausteni tarinat kehittymään katsojan kokemusprosessissa, joka alati muuttuvana ei kuitenkaan koskaan saavuta lopullista päätepistettään. Jokaisella taideteoksellani kutsun näkemään maailman kiehtovaa ja ehtymätöntä kauneutta. Näin yritän muuttaa maailmaa ja tuoda valoa ja iloa ihmisille.
